The basic model can be expanded into an automatic test-lane by simply connecting additional components. Each component, from the basic electronics, analogue and digital displays, infrared remote control, printer, axle weight through to the PC display are fully functioning modular items.

The roller bed is hot dip galvanized throughout for corrosion resistance, a specialty of the company. Results are shown on a clear, easily read analogue display. The brake tester can be operated in manual or automatic modes.

As well as measuring brake effort, rolling resistance and ovality, the use of the appropriate additional module allows axle weight, pedal pressure and caravan over run braking effort to be measured.

The testing of all wheel driven vehicles is an optional extra. The brake tester uses the latest technology and is designed to accept future requirements. Manufacture is carried out to ISO 9001 quality control standards to ensure a long working life.
